The *IEMA Associate Certificate Course is designed to raise the professional competence of environmental practitioners by developing their knowledge and understanding of environmental management and its application.
This new course from Workplace Law Environmental combines theoretical learning with practical exercises that encourage team working and discussion amongst students. Students will also be encouraged to apply what they have learnt within their organisation, during and after the course.
The course is split into three modules, which define the level and scope of Associate Membership:
- Module 1: Environmental Sustainability
- Module 2: Environmental Legislation
- Module 3: Managing Environmental Performance

Who should attend?The *IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management course is ideal for those with specific responsibilities for the co-ordination or promotion of environmental control and improvement programmes, including ISO14001 certification programmes. No previous in-depth environmental knowledge is required to undertake this course. However, a basic awareness is desirable
